The Founders

Spectra Coffee was founded by Priya Belliappa and Vaanu Timaya, both hailing from Kodagu (Coorg) in Karnataka, India—a region renowned for its rich coffee-growing heritage. As fourth-generation coffee farmers, Priya and Vaanu have deep roots in the coffee industry and a profound appreciation for its traditions.

Their journey began in the lush coffee estates of Coorg, where they cultivated a love for the craft of coffee farming. With a shared vision, Priya and Vaanu embarked on a mission to expand their family’s legacy by bringing specialty coffee from around the world to coffee enthusiasts everywhere.
